6 Week Courses
This course is focused on teaching searching skills to our dogs using food. Dogs will learn to search on cue, to source more effectively, to persistently search increasingly difficult puzzles, to clear search areas, and to check for odor at various heights. Humans will learn some basic odor dynamics, build a clear searching context, know when and how to adjust a puzzle to make it easier, and to work with their dog together on searches, and more
This course is focused on preparing dogs and their handlers for the novice level of AKC trialing in all elements. Dogs should already be introduced to birch odor. Dogs will learn more commitment and perseverance to odor, and begin navigating trial scenarios. Humans will learn novice trial rules for all elements, how to set hides for practice, how to adjust difficulty for their dog, how to tell when their dog is ready for trialing, and how to fully prepare for trialing.
Mini Courses

This mini course will teach you to imprint your dog onto a novel odor, such as an essential oil (used in sports), your own scent (used for handler discrimination and locating lost objects), edible mushrooms, or anything else you want to teach your dog to search for.
