Choose one (or both - we would love to have you!) of the following workshops. This option is for auditing spots, meaning you come without your dog to watch and learn. All workshops are beginner friendly. These workshops are being held in the indoor training area at Scout’s Honor, 611 W 11th St, Bloomington, IN 47404. Workshops last 2 hours. Seating will be available.
Look Up: This workshop is for handlers of multiple levels, from beginners to more advanced teams. The goal is to increase your dog’s independence, commitment to odor, and tenacity of searching through the combination of movement puzzles and scent work. This focuses on searching up higher!
Reading Your Dog: This is a beginner-focused workshop. You will learn to read dogs’ body language to be a better scent work partner and handler. Learn to tell when your dog is just sniffing, when they are seeking odor, when they have caught odor and are sourcing it, and when they have arrived at source.
