Choose one (or more - we would love to have you!) of the following workshops. This option is for working spots, meaning you and your dog get to come learn together! All workshops are beginner friendly. These workshops are being held in the indoor training area at Scout’s Honor, 611 W 11th St, Bloomington, IN 47404. Dogs are crated between their turns, so your dog will need to be comfortable in a crate and you will need to bring a crate for them. Workshops last 2 hours, and each dog will receive multiple turns. Seating next to your crate will be available for you while you are not working. Bring your own treats and toys.
Down Low: This workshop is for dogs of multiple levels, from beginners to more advanced teams. The goal is to increase your dog’s independence, commitment to odor, and tenacity of searching through the combination of movement puzzles and scent work. This focuses on searching low.
Look Up: This workshop is for dogs of multiple levels, from beginners to more advanced teams. The goal is to increase your dog’s independence, commitment to odor, and tenacity of searching through the combination of movement puzzles and scent work. This focuses on searching up higher!
Stare Alert: This workshop is for any dog who does not have a stare alert! We will begin to teach a solid, clear stare alert, and introduce proofing exercises. AKC, NACSW, and bedbug odor available (or bring your own).
Reading Your Dog: This is a beginner-focused workshop. Your dog will get to do fun and easy scent work puzzles while you learn to read their body language to be a better scent work partner and handler.
