Combining Movement Puzzles and Scent Work:

Workshops meant to build and increase body awareness, confidence in movement, independence in searching, and commitment to odor through the thoughtful pairing of movement puzzles and scent work.

Down Low!

Saturday, January 24th, 10 am- 12 pm.

This first movement workshop focuses on searching for odor ‘down low’. It can be taken by itself or in addition to Look Up; the two workshops are designed to compliment and support one another.

Stare Alert!

Saturday, January 24th, 1 pm - 3 pm.

This workshop is completely focused on teaching a solid and clear stare alert; when the dog finds odor, they will freeze and stare at it, holding position, clearly indicating they have found odor. This will also give beginners a chance to begin the imprinting process.

Look Up!

Sunday, January 25th, 10 am- 12 pm.

The second movement workshop focuses on searching for raised odor in higher places. Can be taken by itself or in addition to Down Low!

Read Your Dog!

Sunday, January 25th, 1 pm - 3 pm.

This workshop is not only beginner-friendly, it was created for beginners! Even without any prior experience you can take this workshop. To succeed in scent work, your dog needs you to be an informed member of the team! Learn to read your dog’s body language to determine when they are seeking odor, when they are sourcing it, and when they have found the source.
